Obituary of Robert A. Kondon
Robert A Kondon, 71 of Salem, MA passed away suddenly in his home in the early morning hours of September 10, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Janice A Kondon, and his two daughters Jill Kondon, and Stephanie Kondon, . He also leaves two brothers Nicholas Kondon and Jack Kondon and several nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. Those who were fortunate enough to meet Rob were undoubtedly better for it. He brought life, light, comfort, laughter, and thoughtful insights to each and every encounter. He was a simple man who enjoyed, more than anything else, being home with “his girls”, in his garden, with his dogs. After a stream of exciting occupations, including a successful career as a World Champion NHRA Race Car Driver, he found his true calling in retirement as head mechanic at Town Line Luxury Lanes, where he developed friendships and made impacts that will not soon be forgotten. A celebration of his life will be held in his honor there at the Mixx 360 Lounge 665 Broadway Malden, MA 02148. Donations in his name can be made to Northeast Animal Shelter Highland Ave Salem MA, 01970.
