Patricia “Patty” “Mia” (Perry) Capone, 79 PEABODY – Patricia A. “Patty” “Mia” (Perry) Capone, 79, of Saugus, formerly of Peabody, beloved wife of Frank Capone of Saugus, died peacefully on Saturday September 23, 2017 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, following an extended illness. Born in Baden, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Ann (Zupko) Perry. She grew up there in the Pittsburgh area, and graduated from Ambridge High School. She came to live in the Boston area to be with a sister, and soon met Frank who would be the love of her life as they shared over 55 wonderful, loving years together. Patty, also affectionately known as “Mia”, volunteered and then was employed many years at St. Adelaide’s Church in Peabody. She later worked as secretary to the President at Symetracom in Beverly before retiring. She was active in much of the parish life at St. Adelaide's, mostly in the CCD Religious studies aspect of the church. She volunteered as a Crossing Guard on Bow St. near the West Memorial School, and enjoyed short winter trips to Naples, FL. Shopping was a hobby of hers, and her passion was her unwavering love and dedication to her family. She is survived by her husband Frank Capone of Saugus, formerly Peabody, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage; a daughter and son-in-law, Christine & her husband Barry Calvani of Peabody; her cherished granddaughters Breanna and Caitlin Calvani of Peabody; a sister of Carmel Seferian of Northborough, and she leaves a niece Nicole Seferian of Dover, MA. A Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 – 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Relatives & friends are kindly invited to gather on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 9 AM from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 A.M. in St. Adelaide’s Church, 712 Lowell St., Peabody. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
