Obituary of Brian D Connolly

Brain D Connolly, 57, of Peabody, died Thursday evening at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers with his family by his side following a yearlong courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Heidi (Brown) Connolly with whom he shared over 28 years of marriage. Born in Salem, he was the son of Jeannie (Drillis) Hamor of Peabody and the late William Connolly. He was a lifelong resident of Peabody and attended Peabody public Schools. Brian was a machine operator for the Kirkwood Printing company for many years. Prior to that, he was employed by various other companies and would travel throughout Europe and Asia. Brian was mechanically inclined who enjoyed tinkering in his yard and was the neighborhood handyman for his elderly neighbors. He enjoyed the outdoors hiking, and collecting cards and coins and was an avid New England Patriots fan as well. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his children, Brandon, Ariana, Olivia, Brian D, Jr, his siblings William Connolly of FL, and Patricia Moscillo of Beverly, his beloved three grandchildren, Penelope, McKenna, and Kaiden. He was predeceased by his sister, Donna Connolly. Following cremation, his visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM Noon, followed by a Family Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226.
