Obituary of Robert L. Bernasky

Robert L. Bernasky, 56 PEABODY – Robert L. Bernasky, 56, of Peabody, died on October 10th, 2017 after valiantly undergoing the seventh major heart operation of his life. A kind and gentle man, who despite a lifelong struggle with serious health issues, was a devoted brother to his siblings. Uncle "UB" was an especially wonderful uncle to his nieces and nephews. Bob loved all of his friends. He was one of the original miracle babies; and although he struggled with serious heart problems his whole life, we all know he had a ton of heart. He loved dogs, and would often visit the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem to visit with the dogs. He also enjoyed aviation simulation programs on his computer. He enjoyed watching the Patriots, and also taking long drives and exploring nature along the coast and scenic New England roads. He took great pleasure and professional pride in his work as a wedding videographer over the decades with the business “Memories to Treasure”, partnering with Bob Thompson. He was deeply loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed. The beloved brother of Lisa A. Ryan and her husband, Richard, of Topsfield, Lynne M. Bernasky of Placerville, CA, Leonard Bernasky of Newark, DE, Edward Bernasky and his wife, Doreen, of Stockton, N.J. He was the cherished Uncle of Paige, Jill and Matthew Ryan of Topsfield, and Ryan Bernasky of Stockton, NJ. He was the beloved son of the late Ruth and Sylvester Bernasky. Following cremation, a visitation will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 10:30 AM to 12 Noon at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Urn burial following the Service in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
