Obituary of Anne Marie Manning

Anne Marie Manning, 76, of Peabody, died Sunday morning at her home following a brief illness. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Roche) Murray. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School. Anne was employed in the electronics field as an assembler for many years and upon her retirement, she continued to work as a waitress at Denny’s in Danvers for several more years. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Kathleen Murray of Lakeside Park, KY, her niece and nephews, Christine Babicz of Medway, Thomas Murray of Newburyport and Kevin Murray of Lakeside Park, KY. Following cremation, visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5:00 until 6:00 PM followed by her funeral service at 6:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to a charity of one’s choice.
