Obituary of Alice T. (L'Italien) Ernsberger

Alice T. (L’ Italien) Ernsberger, 44 years of Salem, died unexpectedly Saturday at her home. Ms. Ernsberger was born Oct. 3, 1957 in Salem daughter of the late Laurien R. and Alice L. (Gagnon) L’ Italien and was a lifelong resident. She attended and graduated from the Academie St. Joseph in Salem class of 1975. She was a self employed sign painter for 23 years and in the past 2 years had been a sales representative for Electrolux in Burlington. She is survived by a daughter and her fiancé, Erika J. Ernsberger and Armand L. Dagley of Salem; a brother and his wife, Michael J.J. and Fernande L’ Italien of Salem; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Kathleen A. L’ Italien of Salem and Maureen J. and Benoit Brodeur, Jr. of Peabody; a granddaughter, Shelby A. Dagley of Salem; a niece, Lauren Baletsa of Harwich; a nephew and his fiancé, William Billy Baletsa and Catherine Hayes of Salem; her former husband, Mark D. Ernsberger of Salem; five aunts, one uncle and several cousins. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the Cahill-Brodeur facility at 20 Church St., Peabody 978-531-0472 of the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Wesley United Methodist Church, 8 North St., Salem. The Rev. Kenneth Steigler will officiate. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 5 to 8 p.m. Burial of ashes will private.
