Obituary of Lawrence S Tomas
Lawrence S Tomas, 68, of Peabody and formerly of Hamilton, died Monday afternoon at Union Hospital following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Lisa (Fleuriel) Tomas with whom he shared 9 years of marriage. Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Jose and June (Schofield) Tomas. He was raised and educated in Hamilton and was a graduate of Hamilton-Wenham High School, class of 1967. He has lived in Peabody for the past 39 years. Larry was employed by Lab Logistics as a currier for the past 4 years and prior to that he was the owner of the Jack & Jill Tanning Salon in Lynn for many years. Over the years Larry enjoyed playing golf, darts, and bowling and had love and passion for antique cars as well. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his son Michael Tomas of Salem, his daughter, Jessica Weiner of Goodyear, AZ, his 2 brothers, Joseph Tomas of Pembroke, NH and Keith Tomas of Beaumont, CA, his sister, Maria Tomas-Keegan of Goodyear, AZ, and by his grandchildren, Ruby June Weiner, Gage Larocque, Cailee and Anna Teza, and Noah Jr, Lyla, and Isaiah Bradley. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial services will be private.
