Obituary of Regina Elizabeth (Barron) Cronin

Regina E. (Barron) Cronin PEABODY – Regina Elizabeth (Barron) Cronin recently passed away at the age of 87. A Private Funeral and Burial Service was held with the immediate family. She was the wife of the late Francis E. “Frank” Cronin whom she married on October 10, 1953, and subsequently moved to Peabody where she remained until her death. She is survived by her six children, Cheryl Cronin, Pamela (Cronin) Hubbard and her husband Arthur Hubbard, Jr., Ellen Cronin and her husband Thomas Pucillo, Peter Conin and his wife Jeanne (McNiff) Cronin, Lawrence Cronin and his wife Susan (Murray) Cronin, and Philp Cronin and his wife Patricia (Sheehy) Cronin. She was also the adoring and indulging Grandma to her 12 grandchildren, Matthew Hubbard, Meghan Hubbard, Alex Pucillo, Colleen Cronin, Jack Cronin, Harry Cronin, Colin Cronin, Maeve Cronin, Nora Cronin, Ceara Cronin, Annie Cronin, and Elizabeth Cronin, and also survived by several nieces and nephews. Remember her fondly, particularly at holidays as she loved them all. Each one was a chance to decorate her windows and doors, send cards and gifts to her grandchildren and leave a holiday themed message on her answering machine. Think of her especially at Christmas, as it was her favorite time of the year. She loved Christmas music playing in the house, the smell of a fresh-cut Christmas Tree, decorations, and wrapping presents. For those that wish to honor her memory, she had one request; do a good deed for someone. It needn’t be a grand gesture, just a small act to brighten someone’s day. Finally, quite simply, just be kind.
