Obituary of Ronald Steven Tracchia

Ronald Steven Tracchia, 61, of Peabody, died unexpectedly Saturday morning at his home. Born in Peabody, he was the son of Charles J. Tracchia of Peabody and Eleanor (Tella) Tracchia who died this past March. He was a lifelong resident of Peabody and attended Peabody Public Schools. He worked for over 25 years at the General Electric River Works Plant in Lynn in the maintenance department before retiring a few years ago. He enjoyed weight lifting, was a car enthusiast, and enjoyed listening to Country and Western Music and watching old Western Movies. Besides his loving father, he is survived by a brother, Peabody firefighter, Charles Tracchia of Peabody; a sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Michael Novak of Peabody, and also many loving niece, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. He was the brother-in-law of the late Donna Tracchia. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 8:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’ s Church, Peabody at 9:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
