Obituary of Scott J. Hartley

Scott J. Hartley, 60 PEABODY – Scott was born in Lynn on July 26, 1957, son of Benjamin and Barbara (Randall) Hartley of Peabody, formerly of Lynn. He grew up in Peabody and graduated from Peabody Veterans Memorial High School. Scott was a hard worker. He owned and operated K Landscaping which had many accounts throughout the North Shore. Scott enjoyed camping, fishing, riding a motorcycle, skiing, and having fun with his friends and family. He also enjoyed cooking, and always had a beautiful flower garden. He loved all animals and enjoyed many dogs throughout his life, including Bomma, Max, Digger, and Bow Cap were some of the dogs. He is survived by the Best Parents EVER Benjamin and Barbara Hartley of Peabody; a sister Deborah Hartley of Middleton, a nephew Taylor Fix of Danvers, a niece Jacquelyn Fix of Clinton, and many cousins. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a visitation on Thursday November 30, 2017 from 10:30 AM to 12 Noon followed by a Funeral Service at 12 Noon in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Memorial donations may be made to either Beverly Bootstraps, Rantoul St. Beverly, to Community Covenant Church, Lake St., Peabody or to Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA.
