Obituary of Nancy Theresa (Faria) Winchell

Nancy Theresa (Faria) Winchell, 81, loving wife of the late Milton Winchell. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Theresa (Plante) Faria. She was predeceased by her brother Dr. Roy G Faria, Jr and her daughter Cathy Marie Winchell. She was the beloved mother of her son and daughter-in-law Gary and Kathy Winchell, daughter and son-in-law, Caren (Winchell) and Paul Pelletier, and daughter and son-in-law Robyn (Winchell) and Norman Perrone. Dear “Nan” to her grandchildren, Joshua Perrone and fiancé Jessica Konopka, Jenna Perrone, Jacob Perrone, Gavin Winchell, Stephen DesFosses, Michael Pelletier and Christopher Pelletier. Nancy grew up in Peabody and attended St. John’s. She worked as a telephone operator in Peabody and volunteered and worked in the Peabody school system for many years. After moving to Seabrook, NH, Nancy joined the knitters club, knitting blankets for newborns and hats for the troops. She was a member of the Pease Air Force Base Greeters and enjoyed traveling and many outings with the Seabrook Seniors. Funeral Services were private and arrangements were made by the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. If you wish, donations may be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
