I remember the day I interviewed and hired Bryan at ASA. He was very late for the interview but for some reason I knew he was worth waiting for. Bryan was an outstanding professional, colleague and friend. Like most, I am shocked at his passing but much richer for having known him.

Bryan was a intelligent, warm, caring, funny, practical joker, always had-to-have-the newest gadget, respected, adventurous, interesting man who will be missed by all who knew him.

May you watch over and guide Elaine, Jeromy and Tobaz as they pick up the pieces of their lives and continue on without your loving human presence.

I first met Bryan when he was a young, "wet behind the ears" computer geek, and I was a slightly less young, slightly less "wet behind the ears" computer geek as well. We hit it off almost immediately.

We were at American Airlines together, and then at DEC together, and I remember all those wonderful times with great happiness. There's not enough room in the guestbook to reminisce through all the great memories.

Bryan moved to Mass., we fell out of touch, but his name came up amongst those of us from the "old gang", and we'd always smile.

Then, this morning's Hartford Courant, and shock, sadness and disbelief.

Elaine, you and the rest of the family are in our prayers. May God bring you comfort and peace in these difficult times.

I'd like to convey my deepest sympathy to Elaine and family for theirs and our loss of Bryan. I worked with Bryan for 5 years as the department secretary. It was a pleasure to work with such a good-natured and easy-going person amongst an array of technically-focused left-brained individuals who only spoke in CODE. Bryan's personality (in my opinion) came first and in his work. At all times- he was approachable and always willing to give you a minute in his always hectic schedule. But that was him- he would stop what he was doing to chat- even though, he was bogged with an overload of work.
I will truly miss him and his company.
Sincerely,
Theresa

I will miss Bryan sorely. The fond memories of working with him, discussing political, sports, entertainment and technological issues will linger in my mind forever. May his soul rest in eternal peace. May his family have the strength to bear this unfathomable loss.
