Obituary of Anthony R Carlucci
Anthony R. Carlucci, 90, of Peabody and formerly of Everett, died Monday morning with is family by his side at Salem Hospital following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Rosemarie (Barletta) Carlucci. Born in Everett, he was the son of the late Nicola and Josephine (Pizzi) Carlucci. He was raised and educated in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School. Upon his retirement from the post office, he lived in Venice Florida for a few before moving back to Massachusetts and had lived on Peabody for the past 31 years. Anthony was employed with the United States Postal Service as mailman for many years in the cities of Boston and Revere. While living in Florida, he was a member of the local Elks Club and also enjoyed dancing at various venues on the North Shore with his wife and he also enjoyed bowling as well. He is survived by his loving son, Anthony R “Dick” Carlucci Jr and his wife Debbie of Marstons Mills, his sister Anna and her husband Joseph Corrado of Revere, his two granddaughters, Amy Carlucci-Harrison and Michele Carlucci-Sears and his four great grandchildren Gavin and Dylan Harrison and Samuel Maxwell and Eli Sears and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son John E. Carlucci and his siblings, Adolph, Michael, Romeo, and Joseph Carlucci and Emma Sachetta. He was a long-time postman in the cities of Revere and Boston. His funeral will be held on Friday at 9:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Adelaide’s Church, Lowell St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
