Obituary of Ronald B Flores
Ronald B. Flores, 69, of West Peabody, died Saturday, January 2, 2018 at the Brigham and Womens Hospital Boston after a short illness. He was the devoted husband of Constance (Thomas) Flores. Ron was born in Ewa, Hawaii, on August 31, 1948, the son of the late Fernando and Marceliana (Valenciano) Flores and was raised there and was a graduate of Campbell High School. He had been employed with the Sheraton Corp, first as a bell captain in Wai-ki-ki in Hawaii and later served as a Customer Service Representative for Alleghany Air Lines. He then came to Massachusetts and worked for at the Sheration – Ferncroft in Danvers prior to his retirement. Ron enjoyed going surfing and also doing Karati Martial Arts. He also enjoyed watching sports and cooking his favorite recipes. He is survived by his wife, Constance of Peabody, a son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Lindsey Flores of Methuen, MA, a step-daughter, Cristene Maher and her husband Brian of Peabody, a step-son, Robert Garnett of Peabody, his siblings, Juan Flores and Emilia Flores of Honolulu, Hawaii, his four grandchildren, Kai Flores, Nolan and Ava Maher and Nevin Maher and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Alfredo , James and Lurline Flores. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at a later date in St. Adelade’s Church in West Peabody.
