Obituary of Palmira (Tranfaglia) Bocchino
Palmira (Tranfaglia) Bocchino, 89, of Everett, died peacefully on Monday afternoon with her family by her side at the Masconomet Nursing Home in Topsfield following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Antonio Bocchino. Born in Avellino, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Carolina (D’Italia) Tranfaglia. She was raised and educated in Italy and has spent the last 51 years living in Everett. Palmira is survived by loving and devoted children, Joe Bocchino of Peabody, Itilia Pepe of Peabody, Nick Bocchino of Georgetown, and Jerry Bocchino of Saugus. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Carlo, Katrina, Jackie, Nick, Talia, Larissa, and Jessica. She was predeceased by her daughter Carla Bocchino, and her siblings, Carmen Tranfaglia, Teresa Martinelli, Amalia DeLucca, and Erisila Giangrorio Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody and her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Adelaide’s Church, Lowell St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
