Obituary of Lynda K. (Swiderski) Michaud

Lynda K. (Swiderski) Michaud PEABODY – Lynda K. (Swiderski) Michaud, 70, beloved wife of the late Donald Michaud, died peacefully on Wednesday January 10, 2018 at the Hospice House of Citrus and Nature Coast Hospice in Dunnellon, FL. Born on May 9, 1947 in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (Burns) Swiderski. She grew up in Peabody and graduated from Peabody High School, Class of 1964. She moved to Florida in 1999 where she lived in Dunnellon for 18 years. Ms. Michaud was a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and became a Registered Nurse (RN) working with the Special Care Nursery at Salem Hospital for over 20 years. She later was employed at the Hunt Nursing & Retirement Home in Danvers, and then as a Staff Development Coordinator at New Horizons at Chote in Woburn. She was the wife of the late Donald Michaud with whom she shared 32 years of happiness before he died tragically in a motorcycle accident in 2001. They enjoyed camping, boating, and motorcycle riding together. She is survived by a brother, Albert Swiderski of Rochester, NH; an aunt Martha Swiderski of NH; also some very dear friends, Joseph & Pamela Kirby of Palm Harbor, FL, Pat & Carol L’Abbe of Peabody, and Richard & Gerry Niece of Crystal River, FL as well as extended family in New Hampshire, New York, and New Jersey. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Friday January 19, 2018 at 12:30 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:15 PM in the funeral home.
