Obituary of Patricia A. (Donoghue) Reilly

Patricia A. (Donoghue) Reilly, 66, of Peabody, devoted wife of Michael F. Reilly, passed away unexpectedly at Beverly Hospital on Friday, January 19, 2018. Patricia was born in Cambridge on May 9, 1951, daughter of the late Daniel Donoghue and Catherine (Lambie) Donoghue. She lived in Rockland in early childhood and moved to Winthrop in adolescence. She was a graduate of Mt. St. Joseph Academy and Boston State College. Patricia taught 3rd grade for over 25 years, at both Sacred Heart School in Lynn and Our Lady of the Assumption School in Lynnfield. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and family. In addition to her husband Michael with whom she shared 42 years of marriage, she is survived by her two daughters and their spouses, Meghan M. and Robert Michaud of Merrimac, and Erin E. and David Jenkins of North Reading; three cherished grandchildren, Timothy and Katherine Michaud, and Margaret Jenkins; two sisters and their spouses, Christine and Richard Sweeney of Beverly, and Sheila and Paul Ernst of Plymouth; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and dear friends. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 24th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 25th at 10 a.m. at St. Adelaide Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody. In lieu of flowers the family requested that donations be made to the Patricia A. Reilly Scholarship Fund, 392 Main Street, Haverhill, MA 01830.
