Obituary of Lorraine M. (Casey) Olszewski

Lorraine M. (Casey) Olszewski, 78, of Danvers, passed away on Thursday, February 01, 2018 at the Benchmark Senior Living at Putnam Farm with her family at her side. Lorraine was born in Chelsea on March 13, 1939 daughter of the late Benjamin and Mae (Foley) Casey. Raised in Chelsea she graduated from its High School in 1957. In 1962, she moved to Peabody where she remained until moving to Danvers in 2015. Lorraine was employed for 25 years as a secretary in the Turbine Engine Division at GE in Lynn until her retirement in 2002. She was a loving mother who dedicated her life to her family. As hobbies, she was an avid reader, and bowler who also enjoyed dining with friends, playing beano, and who had a special love for her cats. She is survived by 3 sons, Robert S. Olszewski and his wife Janice of Dover NH, Scott A. Olszewski of Amesbury, and John J. Olszewski of Billerica; her cherished grandchildren, Courtney Olszewski and Ryan Olszewski; a sister-in-law, Peggy Casey of Woburn, and many friends. She was also predeceased by her brother Robert Casey. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at St. Adelaide Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody.
