Obituary of Helen (Brolewicz) Kosidlak

Helen (Brolewicz) Kosidlak, 91, of Peabody, died on May 15, 2006 at the Rosewood Nursing Center, West Peabody after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Joseph Kosidlak. She was born in Peabody on October 6, 1914, the daughter of the late Alex and Laura (Lewandowska) Brolewicz and was raised and educated and resided here all her life. She was first employed in the shoe industry working at the Ryan Shoe Company. Later she became a finisher at the A.C.Lawrence Leather Co., Peabody for many years and then was employed at the Maynard Plastics Co. of Salem prior to her retirement. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and loved to travel. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Dr. Janet Kosidlak of Hampton, VA, 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Anthony and Ruth Brolewicz of Peabody, and Edward and Phyllis Brolewicz of Walla Walla, WA, 4 sisters, Stacia Medeiros and Jennie Bovio both of Peabody, and Regina Brolewicz and Mildred Brolewicz both of Naples, Fl and several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grandnephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 20 Church Street Peabody Facility. Burial will be in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
