Obituary of Joseph M. Flammia
Joseph M. Flammia, age 81, died of a long fight with Alzheimer's and cancer on Tuesday February 6th 2018 in the early morning at the Kaplan Family Hospice House. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Carol A. Flammia both originally from East Boston, then Saugus, now Peabody. He was both loving and honored father of Cynthia A. Guarracino of Billerica, Stacy M Kalambalikis of Port Charlotte, Fl, and Joseph P. Flammia of NH. Joseph was grandfather to Danielle Marie LoPresti of South Portland, OR, Nicholas M and Christina R Guarracino of Billerica, Christopher K. Kalambalikis of Port Charlotte, FL, Sofia M. Kalambalikis of Brooklyn, NY, Alexander Kalambalikis of Bakersfield, CA and Joseph Flammia of NH. Joseph is also survived but three brothers, Anthony of Revere, George of Peabody and Louis of Hanover and many nieces and nephews. Joseph worked at the Logan Airport Post Office for 35 years and served in The United States Army. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:45 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:45 AM at St. Adelaide’s Church, Lowell St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to go to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St, Danvers, MA 01923.
