Obituary of Mary (Manzoli) Bucci

Mary (Manzoli) Bucci passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2018, surrounded by her daughters. Mary was born in Lynn on April 14, 1924, one of four children of the late Antonio Manzoli and the late Luisa Elizabeth (Massari) Manzoli. She was married for 49 years to the late Henry Bucci who passed away in 1987. Mary was a district manager for Fanny Farmer Candies for several years. She also worked for Lynn Economic Opportunity, a fuel assistance program, prior to her retirement in 1993. Upon retirement, Mary moved to Boynton Beach, Florida to live near her daughters. After living in Florida for 17 years, she returned to Massachusetts to reunite with her family. Mary is survived by her two daughters, Marianne and Diane Bucci of Peabody. She is also survived by her nephew Vincent Narducci and his wife Patricia of Lynn, her nephew Robert T. Giffin and his wife Maureen of Surry, Maine, her niece Lillian M. Giffin of Stuart, Florida, her niece Frances E. (Giffin) Henning and her husband Chaz of Williston, Vermont, her nephews Michael, Richard, Anthony and Daniel Roberto and her niece Betty Roberto all of California. She was predeceased by her niece Marie (Giffin) Kennedy of Ellsworth, Maine. Mary was predeceased by her sister Pauline (Manzoli) Giffin Whitcomb, her sister Frances (Manzoli) Roberto and her brother Dominic Manzoli. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, February 16th from 9:30 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at 82 Lynn St., Peabody followed by her service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
