Obituary of Robert R Haskell
Robert R Haskell, 50, of Lynn, died Wednesday morning, February 14th at Salem Hospital surrounded by his loving family following a brief illness. Born in Salem, he was the son of Joseph B. Haskell of Nahant and the late Elizabeth A (Richard) Haskell. He was raised and educated in Nahant and was a graduate of Lynn English High School, class of 1987. Bob did various jobs around the North Shore from automotive repairs to house painting and maintenance at North Shore Community College. He was currently enrolled in his last semester at Salem State University and his goal was to finally finish college with an accounting degree. Bob was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed watching all of Boston’s professional sports teams, but his favorite was football and the New England Patriots. Besides his loving father Joseph, he is survived by his sister Ann Haskell of Nahant and by his nephews and 2 nieces, Devin, Eliza, and Isabel Denham, all of Nahant. Following cremation, his Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Stephen’s Church, South Common St, Lynn to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave, Salem, MA 01970.
