Obituary of George Fetfatsidis

PEABODY – George Fetfatsidis, 91, husband of the late Despina (Tsamouridis) Fetfatsidis who died this past September, died unexpectedly on Monday March 5, 2018 at the North Shore Medical Center—Salem Hospital, following an extended illness. Born in Drama, Greece, he was the son of the late Konstantinos and Despina (Kouiroukidis) Fetfatsidis. He grew up in Greece before moving to the United States 47 years ago, where he lived mostly in Peabody. He worked with his daughter at Tasty Foods Restaurant in Peabody for many years, and was active at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Peabody. He is survived by a daughter Elizabeth Nash of Peabody; a son Konstantine “Charlie” Fetfatsidis of Greece; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a visitation on Monday March 12, 2018 from 10:30 – 11:30 A.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 12 Noon in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Peabody. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody.
