Obituary of Judith A. "Judi" Robinson
PEABODY and NEWPORT, RI – Judith A. “Judi” Robinson, R.N., 53, died peacefully on Tuesday March 6, 2018 while in the comforting presence of her loving family and friends following a brief illness. Judi was born in Salem, MA to Barbara A. (Pszenny) Robinson and the late Henry P. “Roby” Robinson. She grew up in Peabody, and graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School, Class of 1982. She graduated St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH with a Bachelors Degree in 1986. Despite her initial career in marketing, Judi was inspired to change careers to nursing after caring for her father during his long illness. She was enrolled to earn a Masters Degree in Nursing at Regis College where she had received her R.N. Judi created a special aura of fun and adventure in all she did, from traveling to socializing with friends and loved to spend time at her home in Newport, RI. She had a huge heart and amazing sense of humor, always creating laughter wherever she went. Judi will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her mother Barbara A. (Pszenny) Robinson of Peabody; sister and brother-in-law, Susan Robinson Perrault and Jim Perrault of Florence, MA, nephews, Brett and Tyler Babilonia of Florence; cousins Linda Hepler of MD, Lori Pyburn of Danvers, and Diana Kidd of Amesbury, and her three closest friends, Lisa D’Allesandro deMont of Arlington, Alison Pierce Connelly of Lynnfield, and Janet Kelley Gjesteby of Winchester. Additionally, a circle of friends who provided support to her during her illness; Maria Kalloo of Lynn, Anne Marie Richards, Bethany Vahn, Kathy Connolly and Ada Dowd of Peabody, and her dear friend Jesse Miller of Newport, RI, — and lastly her beloved Bichon dogs George and Gretta. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to honor her life by wearing her favorite color orange to gather for a Funeral Mass at Saint John Paul II Shrine of Divine Mercy, 28 St. Peter Street, Salem at 10 AM on Saturday March 10, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations in Judi's memory may be made to the Saint Anselm College Scholarship Fund, 100 Saint Anselm Drive, Manchester, NH 03102, or online at alumni.anselm.edu/giving. Gifts will support scholarships for nursing students at Saint Anselm College.
