Obituary of Anebal Paulino

Anebal Paulino, 94 PEABODY – Anebal Paulino, 94, beloved husband of the late Maria Rosa (Vieira) Paulino, and the late Rosalie (Raymond) Paulino, died unexpectedly on Tuesday March 6, 2018 at the North Shore Medical Center—Salem Hospital. Born in Peabody, he was the son of the late Henry and Mariana (Lobato) Paulino. He graduated from Peabody High School, and was a lifelong resident of the city. He enlisted in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Paulino worked in the family business, operating as a Piggery and later as H Paulino Garbage and Waste Disposal Service. Anebal enjoyed his retirement traveling to Europe and took a few cruises on the Queen Elizabeth Ocean Liner. He also enjoyed the simple things in life, going out to lunch, playing cards, and relaxing in his yard while occasionally smoking a cigar. He is survived by a daughter and son, Wendy Drolet and her husband Paul of Peabody, and Scott Paulino and his partner Brenda of Derry, NH; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; one sister Irene Lobao and her husband John of Peabody, a daughter-in-law Beth Paulino of Peabody and son-in-law Barry Matthews of Danvers, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Mark Paulino and daughter Cynthia Matthews, sisters Louise Bento and her husband George, Mary Mello and her husband Joe, and a brother Leo Paulino and his wife Shirley. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a visitation on Friday March 16, 2018 from 10 – 11:30 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
