Obituary of Frank J. Barile

Frank J. Barile, 88, of Peabody, died Wednesday evening at the Peabody Glen Nursing Home, Peabody after a short illness. He was born and Raised in Lynn, the son of the late Romolo and Mary (D’ Antonio) Barile and had resided In Peabody for the past 60 years. He had been a manager at the General Electric Co., Lynn for 41 years prior to his retirement in 1981. He was a member for 50 years and past grand knight of the Leo Council # 508, K of C of Peabody. He was also a past Treasurer and president of the K of C Building Association. He was a member of The Order of Alhambra, Peabody chapter. He was the former husband of the late Mary (Sedliar) Barile. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Loretta Barile of Erie, Pa., Roger and Barbara Barile of Dilly, Tx and Dennis and Sue Barile of Shelby, MI, his loving companion for the past 15 years, Mary Bath of Peabody, a brother and 2 sisters-in-law, Carmen and Grace Barile of Nahant and Betty Barile of Lynn; 6 grandchildren,Christina Langone of Peabody, Suzanne Bongette of Ipswich , Lisa Mc Manus of NH, Vinnie Barile of Va., Dennis and Anthony Barile of Michigan; 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the grandfather of the late Nancy Barile and brother of the late Aldo and Ray Barile. His funeral will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 20 Church St., Peabody facility followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John’ s Church, Peabody at 11:00 a.m. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
