Obituary of Linda L. Lundstrom

Linda L. Lundstrom, 70, of Swampscott, passed away on Friday evening with her family by her side following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Lennart R. Lundstrom with whom she shared over 40 years of marriage. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Jones and Helen (McGuire) (Jones) Davies. She was raised and educated in Ashland and has spent the last 40 years living in Swampscott. She was a graduate of Ashland High School in 1965 and continued her education at Marian Court College in Swampscott and Endicott College in Beverly. Linda worked for ten years as a home daycare provider, of which she was very proud. She then embarked on a 20-year career at Marian Court College and retired as Registrar. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her daughter Kristina and her husband Todd Gaito of Rowley, as well as Nancy and Michael Moran of Swampscott, Donald and Alisa Lundstrom of Swampscott, Richard and Regina Lundstrom of Shrewsbury, her two brothers, Butch Jones of FL and John and his wife Carol Jones of Ashburnham, her three sisters, Gloria Moss of AZ, Carol Dowen and her partner Paul McPartlen of Hudson, and Barbara and her husband Dan Maguire of Upton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Linda loved them all dearly and enjoyed taking an active role in their lives. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, MA to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial services will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
