Obituary of Paul E. Foskett
Paul E. Foskett, 85 PEABODY – Paul E. Foskett, 85, beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Brown) Foskett, died peacefully on Friday March 23, 2018 at his home while in the comforting presence of his family, following an extended illness. Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Earl and Gladys (Moore) Foskett. He grew up there, and graduated from South High School in Worcester. He then attended Northeastern University and Clark University. He was drafted into the United States Army during the Korean War, where he was recruited to assist the establishment that became the C.I.A. Mr. Foskett’s career began working with General Motors, first in collections, then worked his way up to the Finance Manager in Worcester. He transferred to the Woburn office, working 35 years for GMAC. He later worked in Sales for Saturn of Danvers, and then worked with Jim’s Auto in Salisbury the remainder of his working life. Paul enjoyed playing basketball, had a passion for music and he enjoyed playing piano, from classical to Swing/Big band and the Great American Song Book. He was very passionate and devoted in his Spiritual Faith as a member of the Calvary Christian Church in Lynnfield, involved with several ministries. He is survived by eight sons and daughters, including Christine Brown of York, ME, Michelle Rose of Boxford, Paul and Michael Rose, Jeffrey Foskett of Peabody, Kurt Foskett of Wichita Falls, TX, and Melanie Maxham of Peabody; 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; a sister Marilyn “Lynne” Ellis of Baltic, CT, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death, besides his wife and parents, by two sons Douglas Foskett and Kevin Foskett, and a brother Ronald Foskett. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for his Funeral Service on Friday March 30, 2018 at 10 AM at the Calvary Christian Church, 47 Grove St., Lynnfield. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 – 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Memorial donations can be donated to Calvary Christian Church, Lynnfield, MA.
