Obituary of Charlie "Buddy" Chambers

Charlie “Buddy” Chambers, 66, of Peabody and formerly of Everett, died on Wednesday March 28 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Valerie (Scrivano) Chambers with whom he shared over 32 years of marriage. Born in Everett, he was the son of the late Bert and Dot (Wetmore) Chambers. He was raised and educated in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School, class of 1969. Charlie was a Malden Police Officer for over 25 years. The loving father enjoyed boating at Lake Winnipesauke, loved watching baseball and football, cooking, traveling to Disney World, but his favorite endeavor was spending time with his grandchildren. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his two daughters and son-in-law, Kelly and Jack Trainor of Winthrop and Kasey Chambers of Wakefield, his beloved grandchildren, Jaxon and Jadon Trainor, he was the brother of Linda Morris of Milton, NH, Paul Chambers of Rindge, NH, Jimmy Chambers of Somerville, and Bobby Chambers of Everett. Visiting hours on Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody. His Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at St. Adelaide’s Church, Lowell St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St, Peabody.
