Obituary of Marilyn J. (Hunter) Lovato

Marilyn J. (Hunter) Lovato, 75, of Peabody, wife of Donald J. Lovato Peabody Police Officer (Ret), passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the Florida Memorial Hospital in Daytona, FL. from complications of Lupus Disease a condition which she has been battling for several years. Marilyn was born in Salem on January 26, 1943 the daughter of the late George and Gabrielle (L’Italien) Hunter. Raised and educated in Peabody, she resided in Peabody for most of her life. Many will remember Marilyn from her years as a Mary Kay consultant. She devoted her life to creating a home for her family and enjoyed following her grandchildren’s accomplishments. In addition to her husband Donald with whom she celebrated 59 years of marriage this February, she is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl Kirlis, and Dawn Lovato; her cherished grandchildren, Mandy Kirlis, Derek Kirlis, A.J. Kirlis, and Nick Kirlis. Marilyn’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, April 11th from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed with her funeral service in the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. Her burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
