Obituary of Diane C Crotty

Diane C (Sullivan) Crotty, 76, of Peabody and formerly of Lynn and Belmont, died Tuesday morning at the Kaplan Family Hospice House with her family by her side following a lengthy illness as a result of an accident 13 years ago. She was the devoted wife of the late Daniel L. Crotty, Jr. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Freida (Zinke) Sullivan. She was raised and educated in Norwell and later lived in Belmont and Lynn and has spent the last 6 years living in Peabody. Diane was a dental assistant for an Oral Surgeon in Lynn for many years prior to her accident. She loved traveling, spending time with her family, gardening, doing needlepoint, and spending time at their home on Cape Cod. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Crotty and Sheryl DiFelice of Peabody, her brother John Sullivan of CO and is also survived by her two cherished granddaughters, Alyssa and Jillian, and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2:00 until 5:00 PM. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, 670 Baker St, West Roxbury.
