Obituary of Helen D. (Demanchyk) Brazuk

Helen D. (Demanchyk) Brazuk PEABODY – Helen D. (Demanchyk) Brazuk, 92, beloved wife of the late George Brazuk, died unexpectedly on Wednesday April 25, 2018 at the North Shore Medical Center—Salem Hospital. Born in Ansonia, CT, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Anna (Katz) Demanchyk. She grew up there where she graduated high school. She moved to Peabody where she lived for 67 years. Mrs. Brazuk worked as a Sales Associate with Jordan Marsh Department Store which became Macy’s at the North Shore Mall for over 25 years until her retirement in 1998. She is survived by a son George W. Brazuk of Destrehan, LA; a daughter Judith Collura of Medford, NJ; two grandchildren Karen Cornwell and her husband John of Destrehan, LA and Kevin Brazuk and his fiance Stephanie Walter of St. Charles, MO; two great-grandchildren, Johnny and Logan Cornwell; three sisters, Lillian Zakaluk and Ann Mellish both of Florida, and Ruth Job of New York, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, besides her husband and parents, by siblings Peter Demanchyk, John Demanchyk, Stephen Demanchyk, Mary Kaptic, and Julia Derflinger. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Monday April 30, 2018 from 11 AM to 12 Noon followed by a Funeral Service at 12 Noon in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody followed by burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
