Obituary of Agnes E. (Hess) Wilson

Agnes E. (Hess) Wilson, 93 PEABODY -- Agnes Elizabeth (Hess) Wilson born July 10, 1924 passed away at her daughter's home in East Hampstead, NH surrounded by her beloved family. She was born to John and Agnes (Murphy) Hess of Somerville, Ma. Her siblings predeceased her John Hess, Robert Hess and her little sister and her faithful companion Patsie (Hess) Garofano. During WWII she made the firing mechanism to the Browning Automatic Rifle and welded at the Boston Naval Ship Yard. She married the love of her life upon his return from WWII, Louis Wilson, and moved to Peabody where they lived until his death in 1976. Agnes remained in Peabody for 44 years. She is survived by her three daughters, Patricia and her husband James Duda of Essex, Cynthia and Kip Jackman of Maine, Sharon and her husband Bob Martin of East Hampstead, NH; her Grandchildren Rebecca Duda, Stephanie Smith, Samantha Smith, Richard Jackman, Jessica Jackman, Shawn and Courtney Mullarkey, Jamie Mullarkey, Shannon Isles, Kailey ( Isles) and Timothy Gray and her beloved Lindsey Isles who were inseparable. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren. Agnes would like to express her thanks to Merrimac Valley Hospice that helped her complete her journey, as she wished, at home surrounded by love. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Wednesday May 2, 2018 from 11 AM to 12 Noon at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 12 Noon. Burial follows in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
