Obituary of Stephen Pierce
Stephen Pierce, 21, of Salem, died unexpectedly on Wednesday April 25, after sustaining injuries from a fall earlier that day. Born in Boston, he was the son of Susan Chick of Beverly and the late John Pierce. Stephen Aka Big Steve had a big heart and was also known for his big bear hugs. He loved playing with friends on Xbox live and had many friends from all over the country that he played with. He often spent time at the Lake house with his cousins boating on Balch lake and snowmobile. The family would like to thank the many friends and family that came out to the fundraiser in celebration Stephen’s life. Besides his loving mother, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Louise and Russel Chick of South Carolina, his paternal grandparents, Dave and Priscilla Pierce of Peabody, his twin brother, Allen Pierce of Hamilton, and by several aunts, uncles, cousins and close cousins. Following cremation, His Funeral Service will be held on Sunday at 6:00 PM at the at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 3:00 until 6:00 PM. Burial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Autism of New England.
