Obituary of David T. Forsyth

David T. Forsyth PEABODY – David T. Forsyth, 67, beloved husband of Mary Ann (Perillo) Forsyth, died peacefully on Friday May 4, 2018 at the Lahey Medical Center Hospital in Burlington, following an extended illness. Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (Dougall) Forsyth. He grew up in Peabody where he lived for most of his life, and graduated from Peabody High School, Class of 1969. He attended Wentworth Technical Institute of Boston. Mr. Forsyth was an Electrician and co-owner of Forsyth Electric based in Peabody, serving the entire North Shore area. Dave enjoyed being an outdoorsman, whether hunting or fishing in Maine or Pennsylvania. He was a former member of the Masonic Amity Lodge in Lynn. He was a member of the St. Michael’s Polish Club in Peabody where he also worked part-time. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Perillo) Forsyth of Peabody, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage; a son, Brian Forsyth of Peabody; a brother William “Bill” Forsyth of Wakefield, many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, several nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was brother of the late Margaret Bailey and Douglas S. Forsyth. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Thursday May 10, 2018 at 11 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 – 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
