Obituary of Ethel Arakelian

Ethel Arakelian, 86, of Danvers and formerly of Peabody, died Friday at the Masconomet Health Care Center in Topsfield after a lengthy illness. She was born in Peabody on September 25, 1919 the daughter of the late Vartan and Toovanda (Danielian) Arakelian and was a graduate of Peabody High School. She had resided in Danvers for the past 20 years. She had been the library and school-book co-coordinator for the Campbell and Hall Book Distributors of Boston for over 35 years prior to her retirement. She loved to read and had been a caretaker to her family for many years. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late Peter, Haig, Jordan and Mary Arakelian and the great aunt of the late Jennifer Brown. Following cremation a service will be held at a later date at the family lot in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
