Obituary of Yolanda "Linda" (Sabatini) Huluk

Yolanda “Linda” Huluk, 91, of Beverly, passed away Tuesday afternoon at the Beverly Hospital, following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Chester E. Huluk, who passed away in 1989. Linda was born in Beverly, MA, on August 1, 1926, daughter of the late David and Benadetta Sabatini. She was raised and educated in Beverly, attending St. Mary’s School until junior year, graduating from Beverly High School, then going on to attending floral design school in Boston, to pursue her passion. Linda worked alongside her husband, Chester, in their floral shop, Huluk’s Flowers in Peabody, for over 40 years, where she took pride in what she did, doing floral design work for countless weddings and a variety of other events. She was also an active member of the former St. Joseph’s Church in Peabody, where she volunteered for many feasts and events. She also volunteered for many functions s at Our Lady of Nazareth Academy in Wakefield, where her children attended school. She will be forever missed by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Angelakis & her husband Frank of Ormond Beach, FL, Sharon Huluk of Beverly; her grandchildren, Alycia Raisanen & her husband Kurt, Brianna Angelakis; her great-granchildren Lyra Mae Raisanen and Trent Raisanen; her sisters, Josephine Eliuk, Theresa Sousa, Mary Garrett, and Emma Gongas, and nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by a brother Alipio “David” Sabatini. A Visitation will be held on Monday, May 14 from 4 – 6P.M. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., in Peabody. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 15, at 9 A.M. at the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass in St. Ann’s Church, 140 Lynn St., Peabody at 10 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
