Obituary of Barbara M. (Russell) Mugford

Barbara M. (Russell) Mugford, of Peabody, died Saturday At the Rosewood Nursing Home, Peabody following a short illness. She was the wife of Happy Mugford with whom she shared 49 years of marriage. She was born in Chelsea , the daughter of the late Hubert and Grace (Rich) Russell and was educated in Chelsea Schools and had resided in Peabody for the past 39 years. She and her husband wintered in Naples Florida and she loved to go shopping. She was a member of the West Congregational Church. Surviving her besides her husband are 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Francis and Deborah Mugford of Peabody and Michael and Melinda Mugford of Danvers, 3 Daughters and 3 sons-in-law, Donna and Kevin Greus, Barbara and Daniel Marchese, Carol Mugford and Kevin Marston all of Peabody; a brother, Donald Russell of Chelsea, 9 grandchildren, a great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was the Mother of the late Jean Marston and the grandmother of the late Kevin Greus. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 A.M. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
