Obituary of Edward "Ted" E. Berrett, Jr.

Edward “Ted” Berrett, Jr., 70 West Bath, ME – Edward “Ted” Berrett, 70, of West Bath, Maine was found and pronounced deceased on May 19, 2018. Born in Lynn on March 28, 1947, he was the son of the late Edward E. Berrett, Sr. and Frances (Bright) Berrett. He was raised and educated in West Springfield and was a graduate of West Springfield High School, class of 1966. He continued his education at the University of Massachusetts and received his Associates degree in 1968. Following his graduation, he entered the Unites States Marine Corps and served as a reservist for 6 years. He was honorably discharged in February of 1975. Ted was employed as a Manufacturers Sales Manager for many years before retiring to Maine. Upon moving to Maine he became an active member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Brunswick. He was devoted to his family and he is survived by his wife, Pamala Gildark-Berrett; his son Matthew Berrett; his two daughters, Meredith Berrett and Sarah Wigley; his brother John Berrett; and his two sisters, Gale Flynn and Anne Berrett. Visiting hours for Ted will be held on Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody followed by burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
