Obituary of Gail M. (Oliveri) McCauley

Gail M. (Oliveri) McCauley, 53, of Peabody died peacefully on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at her Residence with her family at her side after a long and courageous battle with multiple sclerosis. She was the devoted wife of 28 years to David J. McCauley. She was born in Boston, MA on October 7, 1964, the daughter of Bernadette E. (Ivis)Oliveri and the late Frank J. Oliveri and was raised, educated and resided in Peabody most of her life. She had been employed first at the Data Precision Co of Danvers and later was an administrative assistant at Analogic Corp of Peabody for 14 years prior to her illness. Gail had attended Mansfield Beauty Salon and loved to go dancing with her husband at the dance halls on the North Shore. She was never afraid to speak her mind and was a strong advocate for putting an elevator in St. John’s Church, Peabody. She was a nurturer to her boys And was a lover of animals, especially her dog “Nutmeg’. Her family was everything to her. She is survived by her husband David, her two sons, US Army Sp/4 Brandon M. McCauley of Fort Benning GA, and Dustin E. McCauley of Peabody, her mother Bernadette Oliveri of Peabody, her sister, Laura A. Lefebvre, wife of the late Harry Lefebvre of Amesbury, a sister-in law, Mauren Mc Cauley of Woburn, her long time dear friends, Kathy De Lomba of Danvers and Stephanie Diachism of Peabody, many aunts and uncles including Robert and Rosemarie Daniello of Plymouth, MA, Isabella Oiveri, wife of the late Tim Oliveri of Quincy, MA and a host of friends. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 5:00 until 8:00 PMl at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 am From the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. john’s Church, Peabody at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
