Obituary of Marion E. (Young) Gross

PEABODY -- Marion E. (Young) Gross, 94, of Peabody, died early Thursday morning, May 31 2018 at the Pilgrim House Rehab and Nursing Center, Peabody. She was the wife of the late John A. Gross. She was born in Melrose, MA on March 19, 1924, the daughter of the late Leroy and Ruby (Gault) Young and had resided in Peabody for the past 20 years. She enjoyed doing knitting and going to the Torigian Day Center in Peabody. She had a love Of animals, especially cats that gave her much comfort in her final days. She is survived by a son, John Gross of Peabody, her three granddaughters, Amy Norton of Moultonboro, NH, Andrea Carney Bradford, MA, and Jaquelyn Pilla of North Andover; eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother in law of the late Kathleen Gross. A Visitation will be held on Sunday , June 3, 2018 from 11:00 AM until 12 Noon at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. A Service will follow there at 12 Noon.
