Obituary of Jane Ellen (Cahill) Weiner

.Jane Ellen (Cahill) Weiner, 70, of Peabody died peacefully at her residence on Tuesday Evening after a battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of 46 years to Malcolm S. Weiner. She was born in Winchester, MA on August 25, 1947, the daughter of the Late Joseph and Frances (Whitmore) Cahill and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School in The class of 1966. She was an army brat having attended eight school systems before Graduating from Mt. Ida college in 1970 where she earned an associates degree in business. She had been an administrative assistant at the Athletic department and Counceling Center at Boston University from 1970 until 1977. Her family then moved to Peabody and raised their sons. She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed knitting and crocheting, reading and helping the elderly. She loved being with her Family and entertaining or traveling to be with her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her biggest joy of her life was at age 70, when she finally became a grandmother. Her greatest wish was to live to see her granddaughter Skylar Jane due to arrive in July. She is survived by her husband, Malcom., her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Courtney Weiner of Shrewsbury and Christopher and Allison Weiner of Peabody, a sister, Patricia Davidson of California, MD, her eight month old grandson, Isaac Weiner and many nieces and Nephews. She was the sister of the late John Cahill of Middleton. A Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. A Funeral Service will be held there on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will Be in Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton.
