Obituary of John J. "Jay" LeBlanc

John J. “Jay” LeBlanc, 53 ROCKPORT / PEABODY – John J. “Jay” LeBlanc, 53, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday June 1, 2018. Born in Lynn, he was the son of Ann (Driesback) LeBlanc and the late Robert LeBlanc. He grew up in Peabody, and graduated from Peabody Vocational High School, Class of 1982. Mr. LeBlanc was a Quality Control Specialist, testing equipment for silicon boards with the former Varian and Applied Materials, Inc. Jay enjoyed playing and watching football and baseball in his younger years, and watching hockey now. He enjoyed a lively discussion of politics, and enjoyed history. He was most passionate about family, spending time with his sons, and helping others as he had a very generous spirit. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his two sons, Brian LeBlanc and Tim LeBlanc both of Newton, NH; his mother Ann LeBlanc of Peabody; two brothers, Mathew LeBlanc of Gardner, MA and Mark LeBlanc of Peabody; an aunt Helen Driesback of Salem, and other extended family. Following cremation, relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a visitation on Friday June 22, 2018 from 10:30 to 12 Noon, followed by a Funeral Service at 12 Noon in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home,.82 Lynn St, Peabody, followed by urn burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
