Obituary of Lucie M. Sauvageau

Marie Aurore Denise Lucie Sauvageau, 67, of Peabody, died Thursday evening at the home of her sister and care taker, Lauretta Silva after a long illness. She was born in St. Anne de Bellevue in Quebec, Canada on November 13, 1938 the daughter of the late William J. and Marie L. (Meloche) Sauvageau and moved To Peabody where she resided for 29 years. She then resided at the Hogan Regional Center in Danvers for 25 years before returning to Peabody where she resided with her sister for the past 13 years. She loved to go on car rides, and listen to the different animals. She also enjoyed music and dancing and was loved by all. She is survived by 4 brothers and three sisters-in-law, Gustave Sauvageau and Alfred and Caroline Sauvageau all of Peabody, Emile and Joyce Sauvageau of Danvers and Serge and Pat Sauvageau of Hudson, NH, 2 sisters, her caregiver Lauretta Silva and Clare Carey both of Peabody and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sister of the late Alphonse Sauvageau and Lise Sauvageau. A Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 until 8:00PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the New 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by Services in Calvary Christian Church, Grove St., Lynnfield at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
