Obituary of Mercy Baletsa

Mercy (Magulas) Baletsa, 89, of Peabody died peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 with her family at her side. She was the wife of the late Themistocles Baletsa. She was born in Lynn, MA on November 27, 1928, the daughter of the late Gerosimos and Eugenia (Georgeson) Magulas and was raised and educated there graduating from Lynn Classical High School in 1946. She had resided in Peabody for the past 63 years. Mercy had been a secretary at the Raytheon Company plant in Andover for over 15 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Vasilios Church in Peabody. She is survived by her daughters; Stephanie and her husband Ed Zubal of Englewood, FL and Jennifer and her husband Rick Ege of Spokane, Washington, her two precious grandchildren, Alycia Wolfe and her husband Christopher of Ft. Myers, FL and Alexis Molnar and her husband Eric of Cheney, WA, and five great grandchildren, Nathan and Nicholas Lendermon, and Caitlyn Wolfe all of Ft. Myers ,FL, Addison and Clayton Molnar of Cheney, WA and many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Monday , July 30, 2018 from 10:00 until 12 Noon at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility.
