Obituary of Angelika "Kiki" Georges

Angelika “Kiki” (Bougas) Georges, 93, of Lynn, widow of Pericles Georges, died on July 31, 2018, at North Shore Medical Center Salem following a brief illness in the loving presence of her immediate family members. Kiki was the only daughter of Charles and Demetra Bougas of Peabody and was predeceased in death by her brothers James, Pericles, and William. She is survived by her only son, John, and daughter-in-law, Lita, and numerous nieces and nephews. Kiki spent the majority of her life as a resident of Peabody. She graduated from Peabody High School in 1943 and worked as a cashier at New England Meat Market from 1967 to 1991. In recent years, she has lived in Hartford, CT, South Yarmouth, Cape Cod, and Lynn with her son and his wife. Kiki enjoyed cooking, playing Bingo, and travelling. She was a member of Philoptochos Societies in both Peabody and Hartford. A Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, August 4th, at 9:00 AM from the Funeral home followed by Services at 10 AM in Saint Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church Peabody. A Christian burial will be held at Cedar Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kiki’s memory to the charity of your choice.
