Obituary of Ruth (Kureta) Dylingowski

Ruth (Kureta) Dylingowski, 80, of Newburyport and formerly of Lynn, died Tuesday evening with her family by her side at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a courageous battle with ALS. She was the devoted wife of Richard K. Dylingowski with whom she shared over 55 years of marriage. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Tasi and Niqe (Mingo) Kureta. She was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. She has lived in Newburyport for the past 10 years. Ruth was employed as an operator for AT&T in Lynn before staying home to raise her family. Once her children were grown, she returned to the workforce and worked part-time for the Russo Candy House in Saugus before she finally retired. Ruth thoroughly enjoyed crafting, sewing, cooking and baking, but her favorite and most treasured endeavor was spending time with her children and later her grandchildren. She was a truly devoted wife, mother, and grandmother with a heart and soul that was admired by those who knew her. She will be dearly missed. Besides her loving husband of 55 years, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Lorraine Dylingowski of Newburyport, her daughter and son-in-law, Dina and Peter Kleros of Beverly, her sister, Lilyan Savory of Lynn, her beloved four grandchildren, Alexander and Aleni Kleros and Robin and Jayson Dylingowski, and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Emmanuel Kureta and her sister Helen Ware. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 10 AM until 12:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody, followed by her Funeral Service at the funeral home at 12:00 PM Noon to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial services will be private.
