Obituary of Pauline McCann

Pauline McCann, 86 of Peabody died Friday August 3, 2018 at the NSMC Salem Hospital, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Thomas F. McCann who died in December, 2016. She was born in Malden, MA on February 23, 1932, the daughter of the late Frank and Lucy (Sequenzia) Adorn and was raised there graduating from Malden High School in 1950. She had resided in Peabody for the past 53 years. She had been an accountant for the New England Tel. Co in Boston and Salem for eight years before retiring to raise her family. She had been a member of the Peabody Parents of Children with Special Needs, and attended many special need events. She also was associated with the Northeast chapter of ARC, but her most precious time was spent with her family. She is survived by her daughters, Karen J. McCann and Cheryl J. McCann both of Peabody and a niece and many nephews. She was the sister of the late Vincent Adorn. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
