Obituary of Lisa (Pascarella) Albano

Lisa (Pascarella) Albano, 63, of Peabody, died peacefully on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side after a long and courageous battle with multiple myeloma. She was the devoted wife of Carmen Albano, with whom she shared 36 years of marriage. Lisa was born in Everett on June 6, 1955, the daughter of Mary (Cardinale) Pascarella and the late Domenic Pascarella, of Everett. She was raised and educated in Everett, graduating from Everett High School and receiving her nursing degree from the Soldiers’ Home in Chelsea. She worked at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett for 23 years, followed by 19 years at Aviv Centers for Living in Peabody, prior to her retirement a year and a half ago. Lisa enjoyed bowling, and ran the Peabody Women’s League at Metro Bowl for many years. She looked forward to her annual vacation to York, Maine each summer, where she would spend two weeks on the beach with friends & family. She also enjoyed cruises to the Caribbean with her friends, snacking on her signature guacamole, walks in her neighborhood and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Carmen, her mother Mary, daughter Talia and her husband Peter Bartash of East Boston, son Michael Albano of Peabody, brother Stephen Pascarella of Ossipee (NH), sister Mary and her husband Joseph Richardson of Peabody, brother David Pascarella of Everett, sister Jodi and her husband Stuart Beaton of Malden, step-daughter Nicole Albano Carroll and her wife Amy Carroll of Dracut. She is also survived by her step-grandchildren Jacob, Christopher and Shawn Gillis and Nitalia Carroll, all of Dracut, as well as many nieces, nephews and loving friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur funeral home at 82 Lynn Street in Peabody, followed by interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (themmrf.org) or mailed to 383 Main Avenue, 5th floor, Norwalk, CT 06851.
