Obituary of Fedela "Phyllis" Bardetti
Fedela “Phyllis” Bardetti, of Reading and formerly of Saugus, died Sunday afternoon at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Emilio Bardetti. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Maria (Villa) Guarnieri. She had lived in Saugus for over 50 years and has spent the last 12 years living in Reading. She was an accomplished seamstress who last worked for Vogue Apparel of Lynn. She also enjoyed altering wedding dresses, loved being with family and loved to dance, cook, and play cards. She is survived by her loving daughter, Elisa Bardetti of Reading; her sister Ida and her husband Adriano Nannini of Nahant. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings and their spouses: Guido and Rose Guarnieri, Benny and Anna Guarnieri, and Olivia and Antonio Crupi. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Lynnfield, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
